The Panasonic S16009WA Swidget Auxiliary Control Switch is one of several Swidget wiring devices designed to support smart home automation. Other Swidget wiring devices include 15 and 20 Amp outlets, On/Off, dimmer, and adjustable timer switches. Each device features a slot for a Swidget Insert, allowing you to customize functionality as your smart home needs evolve. A variety of Swidget Inserts are available, including WiFi, Air Quality Sensors, Temperature/Humidity Sensors, Temperature/Humidity/Motion Sensors, Motion Sensors, Guide Lights, Power-Out Lights, USB Chargers, and Power Control inserts. All Swidget Inserts feature WiFi connectivity in addition to their primary function.
The S16009WA Auxiliary Control Switch provides convenient shutoff operation for compatible Panasonic ventilation fans. Featuring a simple 4-wire design, it is suitable for single-pole and dry-contact applications and can be used with both lighting and ventilation equipment. When paired with a compatible Swidget Insert, the timer switch becomes a flexible smart home control device that can be customized with additional sensing, monitoring, or connectivity features. The Swidget WiFi Control Insert transforms the switch (or outlet) into a WiFi smart device.
Swidget’s modular design allows inserts to be easily changed without replacing the wiring device, making it simple to expand or update your smart home system over time. Depending on the insert selected, Swidget devices can integrate with the Swidget App and popular voice assistants, allowing you to create schedules, automations, and remote controls from your smartphone.
